Serious Holiday Concern?
It has come to my attention that a very important holiday is being overlooked by a large portion of the public. Valentines Day is commonly celebrated, either by singles (singles appreciation day parties, where you get drunk as your dad and try to forget that you’re single), or by couples. For couples, this is really a holiday for the lady, the guy should be romancing her and showing her how he feels and treating her.
To compliment Valentines Day, boyfriends have their own guys holiday on March 14th, Steak and a BJ Day. I shouldn’t have to go into detail, its pretty self explanitory, since we men are pretty simple creatures.
Has no one else heard of this day? Among the folks I know it is common knowledge. For those of you who have, do you celebrate it regularly just like Valentines Day, or is it falling to the wayside because it doesn’t have the same commercial appeal (steak is cheap compared to roses)?
mnl - while I do agree with you (shh, don’t tell anyone, I’ve got a reputation to uphold…), it should be obvious that real opinions were not the intent of this ridiculous question. However, I will feel free to use the expression “gift that keeps on blowing” from now till the day I die, it gave me quite a chuckle, thanks 
JenJen, we’ve got until March the 14th. I’m a marathon runner, I could be in Oklahoma on foot given that kind of time!
