are websites advertising their own apartments in paris safe?

i’m going to paris, i’m finding some cheap apartment to stay. but i find it weird in this website: www.holiday-rentals.co.uk because their apartments are really cheap. £ 50 per night-studio apartment for four to five people located 5 mins from the louvre. in this website, they give the private phone numbers of the property owners. so is it safe?.. or apartments are apartments really cheaper than hotels?
