Cheapest travel package possible?

A few of my friends and I plan to go to visit Australia for around a week. We are looking for the best deals around, and I’ve checked Contiki and Kumuka. I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap deals we could look at?
If the deals are good, I’m willing to get them off the net. Do you think it’s cheaper to just pay for the tickets and plan our own itinerary?

Australia is great. But be careful of the dingoes, they are EVERYWHERE! Are you willing to buy any deals off the internet or anything? Get back to me♥
