How are the prices at Walden Galleria?
Nicole asked:
price wise How is it compared to Canadian malls?
Is it cheaper?
What other mall in the buffalo area to holiday valley do you recommend?

There are a lot of Canadians who go to the malls in Western NY because of the prices. The prices were cheaper a few years ago and they are even cheaper now because of the strong Canadian dollar. An added bonus is that there is more of variety of clothing on the American side. I would recommend the Walden Galleria first. It is a nice mall with a lot of shops and there are nice places to eat as well. The mall even plans to extend its hours in the near future to accommodate the increase in Canadian shoppers(not sure when though). Another mall is the Fashion Outlets(I think that is what its called, it changes names too much). It is in Niagara Falls NY and is close to the border. There isn’t nearly as many places to shop compared to the Galleria, but it is still nice.
email me if you have any questions
*Edit-Oh sorry, I thought you were Canadian. My bad
The prices are cheeper on the American side either way and there is more of a variety on clothing especially. Another good mall is the Boulevard Mall on Niagara Falls Boulevard(there are also a lot of stores within a few miles of it), but the best choice would be the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga

I haven’t been to Galleria in years, prices are the same as at other malls in US. Once you get past McKinley(south of it) there are no malls down to Holiday Valley. Olean has a mall but its small, doesn’t have a lot of stores. However in Olean there is a strip mall with fashion bug and old navy and a bunch of other stores, its near Wal-Mart, but Olean is going South/East of Ellicotville(town where holiday valley is)
