I need to know the most romantic place in the world.. Or the best holiday you have ever been on with your partner! This could be a very very sepacial holiday if you catch my drift! I plan to book it very soon! Please help.

It’s corny but it’s fab - Venice! A gondola ride will cost you an arm and a leg, (budget around 70 Euros) but she ain’t going to forget it in a hurry. My partner loved a trip in a private water launch to the glass island of Murano, and seriously dented my credit card with some admittedly stunning jewelry. The trick? The launch was free, provided by a major glass factory, so long as you can cope with sales hype for 20 mins or so. We took the cheap vaporetto home as the sun set over Venice - stunning. The food is great once you get away from tourist trap locations such as San Marco. My favourite moment? ‘Recovering’ in a four poster bed surrounded by empty bottles of the local ‘champagne’ and empty chocolate boxes, and my partner for once not wanting to rush out and go shopping for shoes - again!
