Should i get a prepaid plan on cingular?

The monthly plan is cheap,but only if you will be able to pay the bill no matter your employment conditions (*unemployment).
If you owe them a quarter,Cingular will not hesitate to send you a mail with 35 cents stamp to ask for the 25 cents owed.
With prepaid on an unlocked phone,if you’re broke for a month or months,you only lose your number but you can purchase a Sim card with a new number whenever you get back on your feet.
In the end,you owe nobody for default payment or termination fee.
So,which one looks sweet????????????
