Help! I need to find a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles for military son?

I’ve searched many airlines and web sites and find that they are still quite expensive for me. He is on active duty and was not with us last year for the holidays due to him spending the holidays in Iraq. This year he is stationed in Hawaii with his wife and daughter, and I really would like to have him home, since next year he will probably be back in Iraq.
